Baristas at the
Village Café

Do you have a love for people and passion for building community? The Village Cafe is looking for part-time Barista(s) to join us in cultivating a space of connection for our community through: (1) serving others with genuine interest and care, (2) creating consistently excellent food and drinks, and (3) working alongside the Cafe Manager to continually improve the cafe. Assistant Nursery Supervisor

Are you passionate about childcare and nurturing young minds in a multicultural, inclusive environment? We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Nursery Supervisor to join our vibrant team at Village where we are committed to creating a loving space in which every child feels valued and cared for. We celebrate inclusivity and foster a welcoming community for all. This part-time position includes mandatory Oregon Sick Time and a pay range starting at $16.70 dependent on level of experience. Pastor/Director of Local and Global Partnerships

Village Church is seeking a Pastor/Director (depending on ordination status) of Local and Global Partnerships who senses God's call to guide the church to participate in Christ's mission in the world.

This person will cultivate relationships, equip God's people for service, care for mission partners, and help foster a culture of reconciliation, peacebuilding, hospitality, and faithful witness both locally and globally.

We are looking for someone with a deep love for Jesus, a shepherd's heart, and a passion for guiding people to discover how God is at work among all peoples. If you are energized by building partnerships, nurturing intercultural community, and inviting others into God's redemptive work, we would love to hear your story.

Director of Community Care and Discipleship

Village Church, a missional, intercultural community in Christ, located in Beaverton, Oregon for the past 77 years, is seeking a Director of Community Care and Discipleship. This pastoral team member would join a multi-talented and diverse staff in providing pastoral presence and care to a multigenerational, multiethnic, and multilingual congregation.

The person we are searching for shares our commitment to community, through making personal connections with members. This person values and prioritizes one-on-one relationship building and pastoral visitations.

The role also allows for a wide variety of ministry experiences, and is involved in the majority of adult, Village member engagement in church life and opportunities for spiritual growth.

Administrative
Specialists

We are looking for two part-time administrative specialists willing to volunteer several hours a week to support two pastors. 

One will support the Pastor of Integrated Missional Living (Insil Kang) and the Pastor of Multiethnic Ministries (Mauricio Rivas). Job description here.

The other will support the Pastor of Intergenerational Ministry & the Arts (Drew Fajen) and the Pastor of Community Care & Discipleship. Job description here.

Depending on your desire and skills, you will assist with administrative projects that could include creating registration webforms, reserving rooms, managing spreadsheets, or simply researching the best books for an upcoming training. In this role, you are welcome to contribute ideas that allow our ministries to integrate powerfully as we pursue our intercultural, intergenerational vision for a community in Christ.
