Village Church in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking a Worship Pastor with a heart for leading God's people in Christ-centered, theologically rich, and musically vibrant worship within a beautifully diverse and intercultural community.
We are a missional, intercultural community in Christ that reflects the nations—on any given Sunday, our congregation sings in five languages and hears sermons translated live into Spanish, Korean, Mandarin and Japanese. With an average Sunday attendance of 1,000 across two distinct services, and 2,500 people on our campus weekly, our worship is a dynamic expression of unity in Christ amid cultural diversity. We’re looking for a Worship Pastor who can lead, disciple, and develop worship teams in this unique and Spirit-filled environment, drawing people from every background into authentic, participatory worship that glorifies God and builds up the Church.
Our community embraces both ancient and modern expressions of worship, blending global worship styles, hymns, and contemporary songs to form a liturgy that is biblically grounded and culturally inclusive. Our practice of intercultural values informs all that we do, including Sunday worship of the congregation, supported by a dedicated team of volunteer musicians, vocalists, and technicians. The Worship Pastor will oversee our worship ministry, in partnership with our Pastor of Intergenerational Ministries and the Arts, cultivating a culture of excellence and joy while mentoring worship leaders, investing in the spiritual lives of team members, and helping the congregation engage meaningfully with God through worship.
Village Church is more than a place to serve—it’s a place to belong. If you are a spiritually mature, experienced yet open to being stretched in new ways, and relationally gifted with strong organizational skills worship leader who is passionate about serving the global Church and leading Jesus’s people into worship, we invite you to consider joining us in this unique calling.
