Spring Giving Opportunities

April 14 – May 31, 2024
We’re excited to focus on several opportunities that, in our 75th year of ministry, align with who we are and what we value: continuing ministry in cross-cultural leadership development, multi-generational ministry, and sacred spaces that are multi-use.

As you pray and want to give to these opportunities, please give above and beyond your normal giving to the Ministry Offering which funds our staff, missionaries, campus operations, and ministry expenses. Note that you can give to one or more of these opportunities. If we exceed our giving goal for any particular project, the extra money will be used for the underfunded project.

If you are able to give financially, please write Roof or Kids on the memo line of your check or select the appropriate fund through Pushpay (online giving). For gifts of stock, IRA contributions, or other creative gifts, talk to your tax advisor about your specific situation and, if you’d like to give in this way, contact Patty Deiser, Village Finance Manager, at [email protected].

Chapel Roof: $96,000

More than just “paying it forward” ensuring the next 50 years of Village services are protected from rain and snow, this is an opportunity to bless the hundreds of people who use this larger group space weekly. This includes our ethnic fellowships, community Bible study for women, etc. as well as important events like memorial services, weddings, and neighborhood outreach. This is the second phase after replacing the carpet and remodeling the bathrooms last year. 

Please note: A Village family has offered to match the first $25,000 given!

kids' Spaces Refresh: $65,000

We are overdue to replace wooden playground equipment and re-carpet the main hallway bridging the Chapel to children’s classrooms. We’re privileged to provide these spaces for our multigenerational church, specifically a growing number of young families, as well as bless partner ministries and community organizations including a preschool that pays for its space. This refresh will allow us to better serve both Village kids (350+ participated last year) as well as those beyond our church who are interested in paying a fee to use the space.
