Adult Ministry

We are a missional and multicultural community, actively entering into intentional friendship to pursue Christ together. Jesus invites all to come and see, and at Village we have several different adult ministries that welcome us to come and see together. No matter where you are in your personal walk with Christ, there is space for you to join into fellowship with others who are asking the same questions and pursuing the same truth.

Young Adults

Village Young Adults is an active group of college students and professionals seeking God and community within the diverse body of Christ. Young Adults gather for a monthly lunch on the first Sunday of the month after Sanctuary service, in the Columbia Rooms. We encourage all to join a DNA Group so relationships and conversations can go deeper, and social gatherings and activities are frequent! Contact ministry leaders with your questions to to find out more.
Monthly Lunch
We enjoy a tasty meal, good conversation, and learn about topics relevant to Young Adults at our monthly lunches. We meet every first Sunday, after the 10:30am Sanctuary service in the Columbia Room. Please share your info via the below Young Adult Ministry Interest Form so we can get to know you!

Led by a passionate team of women leaders, our women gather monthly to strengthen friendships both new and old, worship the Lord, and learn from one another. It is our prayer that through the Women’s Ministry, the world will know that we are His disciples. “By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34)
Monthly gathering
We gather once a month on the weekends. Events range from learning about the power of fasting and praying, to on campus retreats, to fun bunko nights.

May Hike
: May 18, 9:00am, Iron Mountain Park, Lake Oswego. You are invited to explore a lovely loop trail joining two beautiful Lake Oswego parks, Iron Mountain, and Springbrook. Iron Mountain Park is brand new, opened in 2021, and is part of the city's Iron Heritage trail system. There is some elevation gain getting up Iron Mountain, but it's rewarded by a beautiful view at the top! Varied scenery includes gorgeous homes and gardens, LO's large equestrian center, and historical sites from the area's iron industry past.

• Location: Meet in the large parking lot of Iron Mountain trailhead, 2401 Iron Mountain Blvd, Lake Oswego 97034
• Distance: 3.5-4 miles, 500 feet of elevation gain mostly at the beginning. Poles recommended.
• Time: 2.5-3 hours. You may bring lunch to eat in the picnic shelter after the hike.
• Terrain: Packed wide trail with some wet spots, and short stretches on pavement.
• Driving: Carpooling is encouraged, although there's plenty of parking. From north Beaverton, it's a straight shot down the 217 to Kruse Way to Boone's Ferry.
