Men’s Ministry

Connecting men with men, connecting men with Christ, impacting the world. “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13”

AIM – New Ministry for Men!

The goal of AIM (Authentic Incarnational Men) is to be authentic with each other and ourselves. We want to be incarnational in seeking to live out the gospel together. If you would like more info about AIM, please visit our community groups page here, or contact Tim Evans.

The Mountain

This Monday night gathering meets at 7:15pm in Columbia Rooms A&B.  These evenings together provide time and space for our men’s community at Village to learn, follow and teach Jesus.

The Fall Journey consists of 2 treks. The Mountain is currently on the second trek which started November 26 and consists of 3 sessions which look at scripture verses, passages and narratives that are often difficult sayings to understand.  This trek focuses on learning how context helps us get a clear understanding in telling God’s story.

The treks are independent and designed so men can ‘parachute in’ for either  session be offered!

The Mountain is where the men’s community connects and talks about Jesus.  Our desire is that every man live out God’s purpose “in Christ” and on mission.  Join us on Monday and bring a friend, brother or neighbor with you.

Men’s Conference

A Conference for Men
Achieving High Performance Friendship Saturday, April 27, 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Village Gym, Cost: $15.00

There is no substitute for a good friend (Eccl. 4:11). Yet men commonly experience life without deep meaningful friendships. How can we achieve “high performance friendships”? Why not consider how Christ treated His male friends. Could there be a better example?

Dr. John Vawter, author of the book “Achieving High Performance Friendship,” will be our guest on the 27th. John spent 10 years on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ in England and the Pacific Northwest. For 18 years, he pastored in Minneapolis and Tempe, AZ. He was also the president of Phoenix Seminary in Phoenix and Western Seminary in Portland.

This conference is for men of all ages. Sign up this weekend at the Information Counter and reserve your spot!
