Mending the Soul

Mending the Soul offers women impacted by physical, sexual, spiritual, verbal, neglect, and other forms of abuse a safe place for transformative healing within a trauma-informed, theologically sound nurturing community.

As a participant in a Mending the Soul life group, healing awaits you within a safe and confidential small group community where peer survivors find the freedom to share their stories, often, for the very first time. You will experience freedom and encouragement here.

Format – Two women lead a small group of 3-5 women through the Mending the Soul workbook. The group meets for 2 hours weekly in the evening from 7:00-9:00p at the church for 17 weeks (Feb 25-June 17). Be prepared to spend 3 hours during the week reading and engaging with the material.

Support – We applaud you for wanting to pursue your healing journey, or to better equip yourself to understand the healing journey of a loved one. This will be tough and you can’t do it alone. In addition to participating in this group, we encourage you to seek out at least one other person, other than your spouse, who is committed to supporting you on this journey.

Forms – Those interested in participating will be asked to complete some required forms in advance. This process must be completed before Feb. 25. So please inquire soon.
