JoAnna Flynn

JoAnna joined the Village staff as the Village Kids Director in 2018. As a trained elementary educator, entrepreneur, consultant, wife and mother, she brings to the team vast experience working with the diverse needs of both children and adults; seeing the potential in others and encouraging them to explore the interests and opportunities God has bestowed upon them. As an effective communicator, with a passion for cultural awareness, she is excited about building relationships, understanding, and community. JoAnna grew up in Clovis, California and is a graduate of California State University, Fresno. She and her husband, Tom, moved to Oregon in 1999 and love raising their son and daughter in the Beaverton area.

“Multiculturalism is the practice of honoring, valuing and including people of all cultures, ethnicities, lifestyles and abilities. It is seeking to understand, before we can be understood.  It is celebrating our differences and recognizing our sameness.”
