To Give Towards the Grace Fund

The Grace Fund administered by Village Baptist Church exists to provide practical assistance for individuals and families who are struggling with basic needs in the greater Portland, Oregon area. Examples range from direct payments to a landlord for an income insecure individual’s rent or utilities, to providing gift cards for individuals to use at local grocery stores. Monies from the fund are open to all individuals in the area regardless of religious belief and do not require participation in worship, prayer, or other religious activities.

Villager community members are encouraged to give to this fund throughout the year and we typically take a special offering once a month towards the fund. You can also give through Pushpay by choosing the “Grace Fund’ option. Because of the purpose of the fund, most corporate employee “matching” programs will allow gifts to this fund through that company’s giving platform (for example, Intel uses Benevity).
