Tony Huynh

Tony Huynh is honored to be a part of Village as the Director of Disciple Making and Asian American ministries. His ministerial journey consists of being an Associate Pastor of an English Ministry, a Youth Pastor, and a College Pastor. Through each of these pastoral opportunities, Tony has seen the importance of a strong commitment to discipleship for the life of the local church.

Tony also serves at Portland Seminary as the Assistant Director for Pastoral Thriving and Congregational Thriving. His work at Portland Seminary comprises of assisting pastors and congregations on their journey towards health and sustainability. Tony considers it life-giving work to be able to walk alongside other pastors and churches in their calling.

He is currently a student at Multnomah Biblical Seminary, working towards a Masters in Theological Studies; where he also received a Bachelors of Arts in Pastoral Studies and Theological and Biblical Studies. His academic focus is on the work of Swiss-German theologian Karl Barth, and how his theology can be a resource for the reassessment of the American Evangelical Church.
