Community Groups

At Village we believe establishing a relational home is best achieved through both larger and smaller group relational contexts. Community Groups are larger, lifestyle specific groups that allow people to plug into a wider network of relationships at Village. Some groups are organized around studies or discussion, others around activities. But all are meant to promote friendship and connection.

Winter Trek runs Jan. 28- Feb. 25! This trek is designed so that men can “parachute in” for 5 sessions, to hear and think about a handful of interesting topics using academic video and debate formats. Discussion and questions will be encouraged. We will look at 4 major themes in God’s Story: Eternal Life, Faith and Covenant, WorldViews and Ethics, Morals and Doing Good. Invite a friend!

AIM (Authentic Incarnational Men)

Day/Time: Select Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 pm
Location: Columbia A
For more info: Please contact Tim Evans

Taking a break for the summer.  Please check back again in September. Thank you

For many men, our genuine desire to be godly can be quickly eroded by various aspects of life. Rather than thriving in Christ, we’re tired and barely surviving, not liking who we see in the mirror. How do we embrace our manhood the way God intended it to be? The goal of AIM is to be Authentic with each other and ourselves, Incarnational in seeking to live out the gospel together and have Jesus in every part of our lives, and true Men, discovering what biblical manhood looks like. We will have both large group and small group meetings, building friendships by doing life together.

As of May 2019, our monthly large group meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of each month. And then for those interested, we have supplementary small groups meeting as well. (Come out to a large group meeting and we’ll get you plugged into one of our small groups. Or just contact Tim Evans for help.)
