AA Book Study Meetings

Mondays, 7-8pm
Contact Julia to join or if you have questions.

What: Alcoholics Anonymous is a group of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
Meeting name: Book Journey
Content: We read and discuss together the famous Big Book of “Alcoholics Anonymous” (written in 1939) and its companion “Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions” (written in 1953). You can either buy a new or used copy of these two books online, or find them in an app on your phone called “12 Step Companion” for only a few dollars. We welcome anyone to attend. Please respect each member of the group by agreeing that “Who you see here, What you hear here, When you leave here, Let it stay here” (AA principle = Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our (Twelve) Traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.”). Grab your favorite non-alcoholic drink and snack, and join us. “We are not a glum lot.”
