We feel so excited to walk alongside you as you begin this journey of raising your child to love the Lord. It is our hope that God will raise a new generation of families that will help bring hope and redemption to this generation and future generations.
Your little one is so important to you, to God, and to Village, as well. Our nursery is a safe, loving, and welcoming environment for your child.
Nursery care is available for children ages 0-2 during worship services on Sunday. It may also be available during other ministry events. The nursery is located on the lower level of the worship center.
When using the nursery, please bring all of the following items labeled with your child’s name:
- At least 3 diapers for your child.
- A bottle or cup.
- A complete change of clothes
- Extra plastic pants if using cloth diapers
- A bib
In order to maintain the high standards of hygiene and care that is so important to your baby’s well being and health, we ask you to remember that our nursery is a Well Baby Nursery.

Adventureland introduces young children to the Big God story through play, storytelling, music, and hands-on activities. Adventureland is offered Sunday during worship service times.
We are excited to partner with parents through their child’s age of discovery. This is a great time for kids to learn to listen to and obey God’s voice.
You can find Adventureland classrooms in Children’s Village – the lower floor of the south building.

Promiseland encourages elementary age students to discover who God is in order to help them form an identity as a valued child of God. Promiseland is offered Sunday during worship service times.
We are excited to partner with you through this time of discipling your child in their spiritual life. Our leaders strive to provide important biblical information that is relevant to each child’s life, while maintaining that building a relationship with a child may be the most effective teaching tool of all.
You can find Promiseland classrooms in Children’s Village – the upper floor of the south building.

AWANA helps the church and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus. AWANA club meetings combine learning with fun to get kids excited about God’s Word and applying it to their daily lives. AWANA meetings are held on Wednesday nights, September-May, from 6:30 to 8:15 PM.
The Village AWANA Clubs are:
Cubbies: ages 3 and 4
Sparks: Kindergarten – 2nd grade
Truth & Training: 3rd through 5th grade
Our AWANA club is full for the 2018-2019 year, please check back in the Fall. Registration begins in August 2019. The first club night will be Wednesday, September 19 from 6:30pm – 8:15pm. For questions please email Jenny Reid or call 503-643-6511.
Registration for the 2019-20 school year begins on Monday, January 7, 2019. To register your child you must complete a Registration Form and turn it in to the church office along with your $75 non-refundable registration fee. Availability is on a first come, first served basis.
Village Preschool is a community of learners and doers. We cultivate a life-long disposition toward active learning, passionate exploring, confident risk-taking, trust in God, and compassion for others.
Our goals at Village Preschool are to:
- Develop a positive self-concept, self-control, a sense of well-being, and a disposition toward a life-long love of learning.

- Become competent in the management of their bodies and acquire basic large an fine motor skills.
- Develop a knowledge of, and faith in, Jesus, the “everyday” God who loves us.
Teachers Our teachers and assistants are educated and well trained to work with preschool children. Their love of children is evident as they endeavor to meet children where they are and help them develop to reach their potential. Each teacher and assistant has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
3-Year-Olds Children who are 3 years old prior to September 1 of the school year qualify for enrollment. All children must be toilet trained. Class days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Registration begins in January for the school year that begins the fall of that year. A $75.00 non-refundable fee is required at the time of a registration to guarantee your child’s spot. Tuition is $150 per month (September through May).
4-Year-Olds Children who are 4 years old prior to September 1 of the school year qualify for enrollment. Class days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 am to 1:30 pm. Registration begins in January for the school year that begins the fall of that year. A $75.00 non-refundable fee is required at the time of a registration to guarantee your child’s spot. Monthly tuition is $240 per month (September – May).
